Well here it is, I finally got off my lazy bum and created a tutorial for everyone. 
It should be easy enough to follow, and open to interpretation. For those that don't know, this guideline is based off my technique for my latest painting 
P-51 5nt [link] The cloud progression is at 100% size to make it easier to eyeball. I hope this helps you on your way to more realistic clouds.

Thats a big hint to make trees and bushes as well. This technique gives an impressionist aspect do the piece. looks like oil or pastel.
