Well I'm calling it quits on this project. I think it went fairly well, considering that it was an experiment for me. I've never tried painting sea before, let alone wild weather. The piece is a bit on the surreal side, and more of a glory portrait to the ship. A lot of original concept ideas changed greatly along the way, if you look back on my first sketch with this piece [link]
 Anyway, I hope you enjoy this piece for what it is. I hope to take what I've learned and go froward. This is a duel powered whaling ship (steam and sail), circa 1870's or so. Print will be available for this piece too, so tell me also if you find it print worthy.
